Please email Norma Oslund for information on obtaining a work permit. Student parking permits A new permit must be purchased each school year in order to park in any of the school’s parking lots. Purchasing the permit requires 3 steps: 1. Completion of the free two-hour California Highway Patrol Start Smart traffic safety class by student and their parent/guardian. 2. Complete and submit the Parking Permit form . 3. Purchase the permit in the Webstore . Cost for the 2019-2020 permit is $100. The Start Smart presentations will start in August for parking pass eligibility in the 2019/20 school year and beyond. At this class, officers from the California Highway Patrol will discuss traffic avoidance techniques, collision causing factors, driver/parent responsibilities and seat belt usage. All SRVUSD comprehensive high schools will offer 2-3 free classes each year that are open to anyone. The class must only be taken once during a student’s high school career and must be taken at a SRVUSD High School location . Reservations are required . This is a teacher work day with no classes held for students. Photo stations will be in the main and auxiliary gyms. Students are required to wear a mask and maintain proper distancing while waiting outside the main gym for their direction to a photo station. No purchase is necessary for a student ID. checking student grades & assignments Parent access to student grades and assignments is an integral part of the educational experience for many of our families, especially during this period of remote learning. We want you to know where to go for information and how to communicate with your student's teachers. Posting and distributing of assignments: Google Classroom Guardian summaries Turning in work: Google classroom Individual assignment score reporting: Please click on the School Loop icon in the blue bar directly under the homepage main photo or click on the link in the "Quicklinks" section immediately to the right of this column. We will use School Loop to report grades on specific assignments, but will NOT be utilizing Loop Mail. Parents of freshmen and new students in grades 10-12 will need to create a new School Loop account , even if you used School Loop as a middle school parent. Accounts do not roll from middle school to high school. In coordination with the San Ramon Valley Education Association (SRVEA), the estimated completion date of training all teachers and importing all grades into School Loop is September 16.
